| The Journey continues... Being a military family allows us to continually see new places and meet new people. We have settled in Connecticut for our next tour. The changing seasons of New England provide interesting challenges and beautiful new views to paint. We've moved into a cape style house surrounded by woods. After having lived in a very small, attached unit in Italy, we are loving the space and seclusion. I still miss the Italian friends we made and walking to have a coffee in the morning, but am adjusting. Helping in my adjustment is the fact that I finally have a completely separate part of the house in which to paint. I have a studio! It is wonderful to be able to leave paintings in progress out and to splatter all the paint I want! |
